Warrensburg, Mo„ Sept. 6.- W. H. Hartman, senior member of the firm of Hartman & Markvvard, proprietors of the Magnolia milis, one of the wealthiest citizens of Johnson county, was shot and instantly killed by Adolph Lubrick, at the home of the latter in this city. Lubrick forced his way into a room occupied by Hartman and Mrs. Lubrick, and opened fire on the pair. Three shots took effect in Hartman's body, killing him instantly. Mrs. Lubrick was uninjured. Lubrick wan arrested.
