St. Paul, Sept. 6.- Arthur Middleton, proprietor of a tea store on West Seventh street in this city, died at 3:30 in the morning from a bullet wound in the left breast which he says. he received at the hands of one of two burglars, who tried to break into nis place at 2 o'clock. There is no clew to the murderer.
