Twenty-one student members of Co. A, will get their discharge immediately and are coming back to resume their work in the university. The lucky men are: Jerome B. Stocking, law 1900, Lisbon Center, N. Y.; Robert E. Robinson, law '99, White Lake, N. Y.; William L. Kimmel, eng. 1900, Ypsilanti; Corp. Richard L. Flynn, lit. 1901, Ann Arbor; John H. Notley, law '98, Vicksburg, Mich.; Andrew L. Coyle, Arthur K. Winstrand, lit. '99; Menominee; Algernon M. Green, law 1901, Hantington, Ore.; Corp. Ralph V. Magoffin, lit. 1901, Topeka, Kas.; Earl A. Clemans, lit. 1901, Oshkosh, Wis.; Arthur A. Baker, dent. '98, Woodville, Mich.; Henry T. Danforth, lit. 1901, Ann Arbor; Florin A. Camalan, law 1900, Waddington, N. Y.; Samuel F. Nichols, law '98, Beatrice, Neb.; Waldo B. Bach, lit. 1901, Ann Arbor; Oscar P. Cole, law '99, Ann Arbor; Carl S. Kennedy, lit. '98, Rockford, Ill.; Henry H. Heilman, lit. '99, New Bremen, O.; Clarence B. Surrey, lit. '99, Ann Arbor; William P. Baker, eng. '98, Woodville, O.; Walter M. Warren, medic. '98, Chautauqua, N. Y. Co. A. is said now to be a skeleton company and will in all probability be recruited from applicants from the 33d and 34th Michigan, according to Col. Gardener's plan. There are a number of other student members of the company and about 100 in the regiment. They did not, however, unite in the "round robin" which is said to have secured the discharges.
The many friends of the discharged soldiers will rejoice to see them back.
