Her Dress Ignited.

Tuesday while Mrs. J. J. Goodyear was working about a gas stove, her dress was suddenly ignited and in an instant she was all aflame. But with great presence of mind she ran and rolled herself up in some large curtains suspended in an archway, thereby extinguishing the flames. She escaped with a ruined dress and slightly singed hair. Considering the circumstances, her escape from serious injury is quite remarkable.
