Death of Christian Trinkle
Christian Trinkle, one of the best
known and respected citizens of the
township of Freedom died Tuesday.
He was born in Wuertemberg. He
married Mary, the daughter of the
late Martin Graur. She with eight
children, Christina, wife of Gottlieb
Walz, Mrs. Anna Renan, Mrs. Arm-
bruster, Gottlieb, Emma, Lydia,
Paulina and Bertha survive him.
Mr. Trinkle was a very active member
of the St. Thomas Lutheran church of
Freedom, having for many years acted
as trustee. He also took much inter-
est in school work being a director in
his district. His kindly, honest, up-
right character made friends of all
who knew him.
