A. F. Taylor went to Matherton, Iouia cotmty, this week on business.

 

H. O. Calhoun has sold out his interest in the cheese factory to Dr. C. P, Kapp.

 

John Merithew has so far recovered from his recent illness as to be out of the house again.

 

Floyd Sniith, of Swanton, Ohio, has been the guest of E. S. Hagaman and farnily for several days.

 

The firm of Gieske & Blum has failed and their stock of goods is now in the hands of W. L. Watkins.

 

Mrs. Geo. Wright came over from Ann Arbor last Tuesday and spent the day with her father James Weir.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Warren Hoxie and little son Elmo, of Evans Lake, visited in town Tuesday and Wednesday.

 

The, ladies of the W. R. C. are preparing for a social to be held in their hall the evening of the 32d of this month.

 

J. H. Furgeson. of Jackson, agent for an organ and piano company of Cleveland, Ohio, has been doing the town this week.

 

Mrs. R. C. Witherell, of Jackson, has been visiting her brother Henry Rushton the past week. She returned home Monday.
