He Has Promised to Vote the Democratic Ticket.

Senator Helme is telling a story on Judson today, apropos of Grosvenor's re-appointment as food commissioner.
When Judson was working the democrats early in the session, Helme kicked on Grosvenor, saying the people in his district did not want him re-appointed.
"Bill" said that if Grosvenor's name was sent in, he (Bill) would vote' the democratic ticket for the next 50 years, if he lived that long.
Yesterday after the name was sent in Helme took Heald on a visit to "Bill" Judson, and reminded him of his agreement.
The new oil inspector scratched his head, and finally admitted he had made the promise, but he confessed it was a rash one.
Helme wants him to keep it, nevertheless. -
