Richard DuBois has returned from Ovid.

E. M. Piecre presened his wife with a new surrey recently.

Arthur Tracy was presented with a new carriage last week.

Henry Trolz and wife, of Norvell, were in town on Sunday.

Mrs. Omer Nordman is able to ride out again after a severe illness.

Frank Rowe and Will Frey were in Fishville on Friday evening.

Mrs. H. L. Bullard is visiting her son C. A. Bullard, in Jackson.

Mrs. Myron C. Pierce and daughter Kittie, were in Jackson on Friday.

The farmers are working on the roads while the corn is coming up.

Miss Mamie Paine spent. Decoration day with her mother in Iron Creek.

Myron C. Pierce was the guest of Nathan Pierce, of Chelsea on Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Omer Nordman were in Brooklyn Sunday the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Bennett.

We hear that Miss Mamie Paine has been engaged to teach the coming year in the Pierce district.

Misses Dena and Louise Uphaus have been visiting their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Anton Uphaus.

Floyde Pardee and his friend Earl Rogge, of Detroit, came here on their wheels last Friday, returning on Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Strahle, of Chelsea, and Mr. and Mrs. Ernst, of North Sharon, spent Sunday with Charles Buss and family.
