Decorating Unitarian Church
The Unitarian church property is probably as busy a scene as can be found within the city limits at the present quiet season.
Carpets and pews are stacked up in the parlors at the rear of the audience room ; the empty book shelves tell of volumes carried out of harm's way; while the air is white with flying piaster and filled with the sounds of busy tools.
A scaffolding lines the walls where workmen are removing the dusty frescoes preparatory to laying on a fresh covering.
The decorations have been planned by a competent and painstaking committee and promise to be an improvement and advantage in all ways.
