Jobn George Knebler, of No. 432 Sflcond st. ,died Snnday evening at 9:30 o'clock, aged 76 years. The fnneral services was held Tnesday aíter icon at his late residence. Mr. Kueber was born at Bermich, ober aait tfagold, Wuertembei-g, Geriüany. He canie to Ann Arbor with his wife -15 years ago. He was a carpenter hy trade and in liis yonnger years did considerable contracting. His sturdy upright louesty oi character cansed him to be much respected. He was well kuowu amoug the Germau citizens of tlieconnty ahd state. He was oue of the ctaar;er members of the Ann Arbcr Arbeiter Vereiu. He took ranch interest in the ccifity. His wife died somnypars ago. Be has complaineri of not fedi g we for soiue years. Ou Satarday evening bie rerired and did not gecuxi again, his death beiug mimediately caused by a stroke of appopiexy. He was the father of a large faiuilyof w-hom the fol[owing . survive : John Knebler, Kistba'ine, the Wife of Ohristiau Helber Mary, the wife of Heiiry Schutter, Lonise, the wiie of Emmet Winegar, all of Ann Arbor, Bertha, tbe wife of Willijn Vogel, ot Dexter, Caroline, the wife. of Charles Rettich, of Ann Arbor, Charles Kuebler, of Saginaw and Puline, who kept liouse for him. There is a large circle of friends and relatives.
