In the Estate of Daniel W. Amsden.

STATE OF MICHIGAN. County of Washtenaw, ss. At a session of the Probate Court for the County of Washtenaw, holden at the Probate court in the city of Ann Arbor, on Monday, the 28th day of August, in the year one thousand and eight hundred and ninety-nine.

Present. H. WIRT NEWKIRK, Judge of Probate.

In the matter of the estate of Daniel W. Amsden, deceased.

On reading and filing the petition, duly verified, of Lorinda C. Amsden, praying that he may be licensed to mortgage. the real estate whereof said deceased died seized.

Thereupon it is ordered that Monday, the 25th day of September next, at 10 o'clock in the forenoon, be assigned tor the hearing of said petition, and that the heirs at law of said deceased and all other persons interested in said estate are required to appear at a session of said court, then to be holden at the Probate office, in the City of Ann Arbor, and show cause if any there be, why the prayer of the petitioner should not be granted. And it is further ordered that said petitioner give notice to the persons interested in said, estate, of the pendency of said petition, and the hearing thereof, by causing a copy of this order to be published in the Ann Arbor Argus-Democrat, a newspaper printed and circulated in said county three successive weeks previous to said day of hearing.  --H. William Z Burton vs. Eliza Burton.

STATE OF MICHIGAN, -22nd JUDICIAL Circuit. In Chancery. Suit pending in the County of Washtenaw in chancery at the City Of Ann Arbor, on the 14th day of August, A.D. 1899.

William Z. Barton, complainant. vs. Eliza Burton, defendant.

In this cause it appearing by affidavit on file that defendant, Eliza Burton, is not a resident of this state, but resides at Canton, state of Ohio, therefore, on motion of Cavanaugh and Wedemeyer, solicitors for complainant, it is ordered that defendant enter her appearance in said cause on or before four months from the date of this order and that within twenty days the complainant cause this order to be published in the Ann Arbor Argus-Democrat, said publication to be continued once in each week for six weeks in succession.-- E.
