Sharon, Mich., Sept 15. - John P. Mount lost a horse recently.

Arthur Gillett is shipping onions.

Will Keeler is working in Detroit.

David DBoise has been on the sick list.

Miss Mary Buss was at home on Sunday.

E. W. Crafts was in Norvel on Sunday.

Joseph Meyer has a flowing well on his farm.

Mrs. Ernest Paul is quite ill with pneumonia.

E. M. .Pierce and wife were in Norvell on Saturday.

Mrs. S. W. Crafts is convalescent from a severe illness.

Miss Purl Cooper visited friends at Iron Creek recently.

Mrs. George Kirkwood is reported to be in poor health.

Chas. M. Fellows, of Saline, visited relatives here last week.

Edward Uphaus called on friends in West Sharon Thursday.

Miss Louise Buss spent Sunday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Buss.

The corn is nearly all cut, and the farmers are giving their attention to seeding.

Frank Knickabocker is repairing his house. His father-in-law from Ohio is doing the work.

Mr. and Mrs. John Kieser, of Ohio, are visiting Mrs Kieser's sister, Mrs Will Schicht.

Mrs August Kleinschmitt is improving slowly, but is still in quite a critical condition.

Miss Mae B. Keeler is teaching school in district No. 7, and Miss Maud Goodell, of Manchester, on Sharon Hill.

Miss Louise Uphaus has returned to Ann Arbor after a pleasant visit with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Uphaus.

Clifford Kendall has been engaged to teach the winter and spring terms of school in the Pleasant Lake district in Freedom.

Mrs. Bert E. Smith and sons, Don and Schuyler, have returned to their home in Chicago after a month's visit with relatives and friends here.

There were no services at the Center church last Sunday as Rev. D.R. Shier and Supt .Wm. R, Mount were attending the M. E. conference at Detroit.

Several from here attended  the wedding of Richard Curtis and, Laura Niles at the house of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Pixley, in Fishville on Thursday evening, Sept. 7.

The Prospect Hill Sunday school held an ice cream social at the home of Mrs. Melissa Jones on Saturday evening. A large attendance and a pleasant time is reported.
