President Lawrence T. Cole has assumed his duties as president of St. Stephens College at Annandale, New York, a position to which he was formally elected a week ago, the conditions attached to his acceptance of the position involving some reforms in the college, having been most cheerfully acquiesced in by the board of trustees.
This is a great a honor conferred upon so young a man, but one most worthily bestowed.
The college is one in which many young men get their preparatory training for the theological schools and will undoubtedly with so progressive spirited a president enter upon a new era of prosperity.
President Cole's mother and sister are in the city, packing their household goods preparatory to joining him at Annandale
