"Imperial" Mass Will Be Sung

Haydn's Third Mass, better known as the Imperial, will be sung at the dedication of the new Catholic Church, on Nov. 26th. It is considered one of the finest masses ever written. The entire composition consisting of Kyrie, Glorio, Credo, Offertorium, Sanctus and Agnus Dei, will be rendered by a select choir of voices led by a strong quartette. The Offertorium will be sung by Prof. Lamson, The new organ of which a description was given in the Argus about one week ago will be used for the first time on the occasion.
