THE HALL WAS PACKED

The 33rd anniversary of the organization of the Ann Arbor Arbeiter Unterstuetzungs Verein last evening was celebrated by the members with their families and friends in a most happy manner. Their hall was filled to overflowing. The evening's program was opened after an overture by Mr. Schaeberle, by the president, George Lutz, welcoming the guests and giving them a short history of the society and its helpfulness to its members and their families in sickness and death. During the evening President Lutz received a dispatch from William Reichmann, of Grand Rapids, former secretary of the Allgemeiner Bund expressing bis good wishes. An excellent program was then rendered, as follows: "Fruehlings Toast," Fisher, Herman Allmendinger; a, "Spinn, Spinn," Juengst; b, "Beim Liebschen zu Haus," Pfeil, Lyra; alto solo, Mrs. R. H. Kempf ; phonograph solo, W. F. Nissle; "Waldvoeglein," Lachner, Miss Charlotte Hutzel; "Ich Gruesse Dich," Lyra; duett,"I Live and Love Thee," Campana, Misses Louise and Helen Allmendinger; "Fruehlingszeit, " Colmann, Carl Mayer ; phonograph solo, William F. Nissle; overture, Mr. Schaeberle.

After the concert the young people enjoyed a social dance, everybody having a good time.
