THE BELL AGENTS SAY THEY HAVE THAT MANY.

The New State People Will Also Tackle That Territory-Other Saline Notes.

Saline, Mich., Nov. 1. - (Special to Daily Argus.) - Attorney Richard D. Roche, of Howell,made a business trip to Saline on Wednesday.

A party of college girls from Ypsilanti spent Saturday evening at J. W. Hull's. They came by the electric car.

Mr. Huff, of Farmington, has accepted a position as pharmacist with Lister & Sheeder.

The Bell Telephone Co. have two solicitors here in their interests. They have secured 50 contracts in Saline and surrounding country.

Marshal Charles Carven is having a cement walk put down along his place on Adrian st.

It is reported that the New State 'Phone is coming into town. Their wires are to be strung along the poles of the D., Y. & A. A. railway.

E. A. Hauser has sold his wool to Mr. Whetstone of the Milwaukee Worsted Mills. He had over 200,000 pounds. Owing to the rise in the wool market, the margin is a very comfortable one. The wool will be shipped at once.
