Editor CoĆ¼riih:- I have read with interest an extract froni the leoture of Judge Campbell, before the graduating class, in regard to extended cross-examinatioD of witnessoH and to indiscriminate objeotion to evidence, exceptiog to charges, etc., etc. The points are wellput, butwill the judge inform us in his next leoture, how much of the "ignoranoo, inoapacity or hot temper or captiousness," on the part of the lawyers is due directly to the law school of whioh he is a professor? It has beoome a matter of public notoriety, that of eighty or one hundred graduates whioh are run annually though the law department not one in twenty could pass an ordinary, well conducted examination for admission to the bar, and not one in one hundred of them is qualified to begin practico, and then to make the matter worse, the legislature passod an act by whioh the diploma of the law department entitled the bearer to admission and to practico in all the oourts of the State. Yes, judge, that is where the ignoranoe and incapacity lies - in your law school, which was established to make learned and competent professional men, bat which has the effect to make
