At the meel ing of the regenta in Ootoher, 1.HT8, l'rof. Watson advised thera of offers made him by Gov. Washburne, of Wisconnin, to accept a position in the university at Madison, and also informedthem upon what conditions he would remain here. The cntire board were a unit in the opinión that l'rof.
