Death Of Justice Winegar
After about two weeks of sickness, oecasioncd by blood-poisouiiig, Philip Winegar died Wednesday niglit. He was born at Union Springs, Cayuga Co., New York, August 14, 1827. His fatlier, AshWlnegar, was a w ooien nianufacturer, and gave to lila son a good education. In 1854 lie carne to Michigan, and settkd in Northfleld, which township for tour years he represented as Supervisor. In 1803 lie was elected Sheriff, and moved to Ann Arbor. At the close of his terun of office four years later, he was again electec Supervisor, tliis time froni his new home He had been Justice of the l'eace in the city since 1880. He leaves a wife and one sou.
