c'u.uity Cleik John j. Hoblson has been in Lansing this week. Miss Millie Harrington ia visitlng at the house of Qilbert Bliss. Prof. W. H. Butu of Orchard Lake Military Auiidemy was at his home Sund,y. Kuiene B. Hall and wlfe ut present are enjoying the fragranee of the orange blossom in the Sunny South. Mr. Danenhower, white in the city, was enterUined by Prof. Mortimer Cooley. Tliey were old sliiniates in the U. Ö. Navy. Profs. Prescott and Vauelin were important witnesses in the Millard niurder trial at Ionia this week. Prof. Prescott testitied for the prosecution, and Prof. Vaughn for the defenge. Mr. Leon M, Allen of the f resliman class (Ut.) has left college to accept a lucrativo position n connecüon with the C. II. I. & P. R. H., at DaTenport, Iowa. Mr. Allen hopes to be able to continue hifi studies in the near future.
