The valueof the ustructiou reoelved at tbese iDstitutes is beiug very generally recognized by teachers and school offlcers. As a rule it lias been the experience of county examiners and other exuiuining offlcers, that the most successful teachers are those who have availed tliemselves of the normal instructlou oilured by these local Instltutes. The dally sessionsof the Iustitutes for thls year will, as heretofore, be devoted excluslvely to topics of special interest to teachers, presentrd by persons of extended practical exptrience as teachers, and who lmve made a special study of ïnstitute work. The evening lectures will be of a popular character. The institNte hiw allows teachers, wliose schools are in sesslon at thu time appointed for the county Institute, hek under tbe direction of te Stute íjuperinteudent, to close their echools during the cóntlnu&nce of such Institute without forfeiting their wajfes for as many half-days as they are In attendance at the Institute 'l'his provisión of law, and the fact tha there will be no tuition or enrollmeut fee fxacted, should insurc tbe attendance o every teacbcrlo thecountv who possesse the professional spirit.
