Russell, a News correspondent, commences f uit for $3,000 damnges ajrainst the Free Press for the publication of an item ïnsiiiuatiiiff he was drank at the liit eneampment at Island Lake. But some way, it always looked to us a little cuwardly for one newspaper to sue anolher f'ur libel or slander. Witli free eus and good worklng brains, ol' all utlicr penple in the world newspaper men ouglit to be able to defend themselves without rworting to tlie alt] of lawyen and courts. Of courae, in this case, tlie .News strikes back In Belf-defense. The following is the official oaiiraM of tlie vote in this congressional district: Allen. Salsbury, Croslor, K. 1 1 1'.
