At a special meeting of Welch Post, No. 137, G. A. H , held for the purpose, 011 Monday evening last, Comrades R. Campbell, A. F. Martin, II. S. Dean and Wni. II. FUher were appointed a cominittee to draw up and present suitable resolutions on the sudden and (to us) uulooked for doath of onr illustiiouj UfcdqJ and comrade. The tollowin resolutions wcre the result of tlieir labor, and were adopted (after some very puthelie eulogies by personal f rienda of the deceatedj by i rising vote: Whehkas, It ha pleased the Maker and Ruler ot tliis world to remove by sudden dealh, our oniirade.
