In fact, this is one of the few companies that is meeting with lmancial success this year. The Chicago News gave tuein this send off: The "Little Nugget" company was greetcd with anothcr good audience on last evening, and save a very satisfactory entertainment. There is just sulllcient plot to mako it interestin},'. After the first act it nierges Into speclaltles that keep the audience n a happy humor until the close. The third act flniahes the story of Little Nu{rret's trials. In the specialties some clever people are introduced in plcasing songs, dances, etc. The entertainment is of the coraedy order, and keeps the audience langhlkg all the time. The company's engagement runs through the balance of the week, and on Saturday afternoon they give a matinee performance. "Little Nugget" is without donbt one of the neatest shows that has been licre this season. The piece Is a conglomer.ition of refined fun, and the actors and actresses are ladies and gentlemen who do their vork in such a way as to cali forth the greatest enthusiasm, not cnly for their artistio accomplishments, but for the ea9y grace which education and gentle feelings alone can give. They play to the hlgher and purer emotions of human hearts, and things that we would hiss if done in a bungling way, they ha;idle so naturally, that the house is kept in a continued roar. The play from beginning to end is filled with irresistable surprises, und just as you make up your mind that it is a shame to laugh at such foolishnes?, there you go again worse than ever.- Cincinnati Gazette, of Dec. 14. Mr. Charles A. Loder who is at the head of the company bas gained for himself the rnputatlon of the best Oerman dialect comedian of the age. Mr. Loder will introduce a nuinber of hls popular songs, recitations, etc. Hilarity is all that the titlc suggests and is brim full of pure fun and good made. The company earry all of their own special secnery, stage setting-:, etc., tlie same that was used during the New York production. The St. Louis Globe Democrat speaking of the play and players says: "Hilarity, as produced by Chas. A. Loder and bis excellent oompany, is without doubt the funuiest show on tlie stage."
