M. TliC objects of this Convention are to tonn a Bepublicao league lor the State ut 'Michigan; to supervise and to encour age the formation of permanent clubs ii every county; and to give a o actiën for cffectivc work iu order tbn sound Eepublican principies may be establlshed and maintained. Eaeh club shall be entitled to as many vlelegates as it shall elect, but shall have only one vote. Where clubs are already existing, thoy are requested to meet aut deotdelegates; while in those places no barLug a club oiganization llepublicani are urged to form one at once and seni representativos. Kliglbility to membersliip in the Leajue consists in the Kepub llcan Club havina a conrtltution and a incnibcrshiD of twenty. The annual bauquet of the Michigan Club occurrlngin the eveninj; wlll Oal many dlstlofukbed Kepublicans to the city, nd it is expected they wlll address tlie Conventiou.
