A stftte convention of the republicana of Michigan, will be held at Hartmau's hall, (.mini Rapids, Tuesday, May 8tb, 1888 At 12 o'clock noon, for the purpose of electlng four delegates at large and four altérnate delegates at large to the republlcan natlonal convention, to be held at Chicago, June 19, 1888; also for the purpose of selectlng a chalriiiiiii of the state central commlttee, anti 1 we memberg thereof from each congressional district, and the trausactlon of such other business as may properly come before lt. In compllance wlth a resolutlon adopted In Detroit, June 23, 1880, the secrelary of each county conven tion Is to forward to the secreo( the state central commlttee, by the earliest mail, afler the delfgates to the state convention are chosen, a oertlfled list of such delegates as are entltled to seats In the state conveullon from thelr respective countles.
