Editor:- The Iridies' Decoration Society were quite busy all day yeterdy in preparing and decoratlng the soldiers' monument, in the tlfth wnrd cernetery, nod the thouglit here strikes us, would it not be fnr pleasanter and tend to niHke the coming generation more patriotic to liold the exercises there, or in some otlier suitable place, (instead of jtoinjí uto a hall) and have the yoiinjí íblks of the city join In the procession, carryinjf tiieir little flajL8, as tliey did for niHiiy years nnder ',he jfuidance of the L. D. B.? We think it would be better iu m;iny respecta; and nothing but ínclement weather would prevent suecess; but as a general tuing, under their aJminlstration, that provea favorable.
