The ticket placed in nomination by the ropublicans at their convention yesterday is one tlint the party may well feel proud of. There isn't a man on the ticket but deservcs a hearty and cordial support of the people of tliia county. Now tlien for a push to victory all along the line. If a man is carrying on i good business liere, employing a number of hands :ind pnying them every Siturday niglit, wlmt would you think of liim if lie went off down to Windsor and voluntarily invitcd pcople in the same line to come up liere and fhare hls business wlth hini? Wouldn't you cali siich a deed foolUhf Wonldn't the Ann Arbor man be obliged to divide up h8 profits, and reduce his force of employés? But that is just exactly what the democratie party is atti uiitinr to do witli America's business men! They wish to give iorelrn nianufncturer?, farmers, etc, an equal clumci' wlth our own. Our own people have to pay the taxes and foot the bilis, while not one red cent for the support of our government would be [jaid by these foreign producers. Is It good pollcy, or good sense even ?
