Rubber Dubber - a name synonomous with reoorded quallty in boofleg underground records - was ralded by Federal Marshals in its Los Angeles headquarters in two separate invasions, September 9th and 14th. In a switch in tacücs against the socalled "underground" record producers, the seizure was ordered by a clerk of the Federal district court after suits were fllod by two major music publishing flrms. Best known for their counterfeit albums of live concerts, the Rubber Dubber catalog included albums by Van Morrison; Led Zepplin; Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young; Jimi Hendrix; and James Taylor. Their reputation for quality sterns from the high degree of sound reproductlon on their albums, far exceeding the standard of most booüegs.
