Mitch Ryder of Detroit records a radio spot in the photo above urging people to go to the polls and vote on April 3rd, come to Sunday's Be-In and the Election Boogie Sunday night. Mitch's spot can be heard on radio stations in Detroit and Ann Arbor all this week up until election day. (Detroit will be appearing Saturday night, April 1, at Hill Auditorium, in a benefit for the People's Campaign to Get Out the Vote.) Mitch's message for the people, along with another election spot made by Mark Farner of Grand Funk, was produced and edited with the help of WABX DJ Larry Monroe (left). Larry lives in Ann Arbor, and also volunteered his help producing spots for Detroit's People's Ballroom and paid advertisements for the Human Rights Party. Catch Larry's show on ABX in the late-night and early morning hours Thursday through Monday. POWER TO THE PEOPLE'S MUSICIANS AND RADIO WORKERS!
