The following bands are donating their time to play at the Community Parks Program free concerts on July 14th and July 21st: SCOTT MORGAN GROUP Scott Morgan, lead vocal; F red Smith, lead guitar; Mike Davis, bass; Bill f'igg, drums; and Terry Trabandt, guitar. The Scott Morgan Group is composed of musicians from some of the most namic bands in Michigan musical history: The MC5, The Rationals, Mitch Ryder and Detroit, and Lightnin'. All in one band -- mercy! Unable to make their initial date at the concerts earlier tliis summer, they promised us all they'd be liere this July 14. You may hear their 45 single, "Slow Down", on WABX. CHICAGO SEED (We couldn't get any information on this band before presstime, but we've heard from reliable sources that they play soul and rhythm and blues, they're from Toledo, and they're good. Appearing at Otis Spann field on July 14.) MUSKADINE BLUES BAND BUI Tarsha, harp; Buddy Reed, lead guitarvocals; John Newmark, bassvocal; John O'Neil, drums. Treetown blues may not be as hot as it was last winter when Flick's and the Primo (now closed) were cookin' every night. But the scène is still very much alive and waiting to burst out once again, as can be seen July 21 when the Muskadines give us a taste of that good old urban blues sound. SOJOURNER WOLFS' CATHOUSE BAND Jamie Wolf, guitar; Lucius Shepard, lead singer; Pete Neds, violin & guitar & keyboard; Richard Spang, bass; Craig Stadtmiller, keyboards; Gramn Fineout, drums; John Hackenburg, horns. Playing around área, and just gig at the Roostroit, the Catdown tbr (ÊÊ cing pleasure the Ann ArborYpsi finishing a tertail in Dehouse get your danwith an I all original show " featuring Gospel rock, Caribbean Boogie, and ballads. With a jazz. rock, country, poeticbackgrounds combined in one band, come out to the field July 21 to check out the combo. PEGASUS Ray Smith, lead mitar; Mike I erency. lead guitar; John Hetty. bass; Davc Sutton, lead singer: Wayne Miller. drums. Pegasus, hailing from the DetroitWindsor área will be bringing their hard rock and roll origináis to the park. The band is made up of people from groups now gone but remembered well in this area. including Poison Oak and Teraplane. July 21 at Otis Spann.
