Brinkerhoff Named
Argus Vice-President

James F. Brinkerhoff, Argus
Cameras Division operations
manager for the past seven
years, has been promoted to
vice-president of operations, it
was announced today by Clin-
ton H. Harris, Argus president.
Argus is a division of Sylvania
Electric Products, Inc.

Brinkerhoff announced today
that Thomas H. Spitler, Argus
manufacturing superintendent,
has been named plant man-
ner of the new Argus pro-

•tor factory to be built in Co-
lumbia, S. C.

Brinkerhoff, a former city
councilman, will have overall
responsibility for Argus manu-
facturin' s in both
Ann An .umbia, be-
sides remaining in charge of
optical manufacturing and in-
dustrial sales in his new ex-
'ecutive post.

Argus manufactures 35mm

eras,

Brinkerhoff joined Argus in

have been active in a variety
of community and professional
organizations.
