STATE CHAMPION LOSES--Leo Rakowski, left, is shown above as he missed left aimed at Don Stevenson while Don lands a right blow to the head in their Golden Glove bout at the Armory last night. Rakowski was knocked down for the first time in his career in the first round when Stevenson dropped him for the count of nine. Rakowski, state champion last year at Grand Rapids, dropped the decision to Stevenson.
