Promoting a safer and cleaner environment is one of our goals.

As a natural foods grocery, we feel our commitment to healthier food should also mean a commitment to a healthier planet.

While we sell many packaged items, our emphasis is on bulk foods. This is a conscious effort not only to lower food costs to consumers but also to reduce unnecessary, non-degradable packaging, which has saturated our landfills and added toxic substances to the air when incinerated.

Our stores carry a growing selection of organic foods. These include produce items, grains, juices, soy products, nut butters, herbs, canned goods, corn chips and more. Organic agriculture does not introduce hazardous pesticides into our soil and food supply, and it preserves soil fertility for future generations.

Local farmers & suppliers are given priority. This helps support the regional economy and lowers energy consumption through shorter delivery distances In contrast, locally-grown foods are difficult to find at most groceries.
