I can'r believe it--more corporate downsizing! Don't these morons understand that people who don't have jobs can't buy their products?
And the awful irony is that, according to recent studies,downsizing often doesn't even work! The savings accrued by cutting labor costs are offset by mitigating factors such as increased consumer dissatisfaction and lowered employee morale...
It really makes me wonder, Tom--what kind of boneheads are running corporate America, Anyway?
So we'll fire half our workers--and then the other half work twice as hard!
