Celebrate Kwanzaa!
In her new book, The Complete Kwanzaa: Celebrating Our Cultural Harvest, Detroit author Dorothy Winbush Riley offers comprehensive guide to the cultural foundations of Kwanzaa, the African-American holiday celebrated from December 26 to January 1. Ms. Riley will be at Borders to explain the history and oriqins of Kwanzaa and describe the Kwanzaa feasting and gift-giving traditions.
