A Message from FAIR

Greetings to all of our FAIR supporters in the Ann Arbor area. This is a note to inform you that some Ann Arbor students have expressed interest in getting CounterSpin back on a more regular schedule at WCBN 88.3 FM. We'd like to ask for your help to make this happen.

Quite simply, FAIR would not exist if it were not for the efforts of media activists and progressive-minded individuals to alter the media landscape, both on a local and national level. This is an opportunity to bring media diversity to your area, and it is a strategy that works around the country.

Radio stations love to hear from listeners, and as FAIR supporters you can request that they begin airing CounterSpin regularly. Below is the information you will need: WCBN-88.3 FM, 530 Student Activities, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI 48109-1316. Program Director: Nate Deyonker, Phone: (313) 763-3501. Fax: (313) 647-3885

When calling the station, ask to speak to the Program Director. Voice your support for community radio and for CounterSpin, the weekly news program offering views and insight not normally heard anywhere on the radio dial.

Thank you for your continued support of FAIR and EXTRA! Let's hope we can bring our message to an even wider audience.
