Ann Arbor High School's debaters continued their winning ways over the weekend by tying for first with Battle Creek Central High School in the Battle Creek Cereal Bowl Debate Tournament held Saturday in Battle Creek.
The High school's first team composed of Skip Odell and Ruven Brooks, affirmative, and Jill Wescott and Jamie Harris, negative, won six debates and lost none. The second team was defeated.
By scoring three perfect rounds of debate, Jamie Harris won the trophy for the outstanding debater at the tournament. Jamie also won a trophy for the best second negative debate.
