FRANCISCO-BOYCE FIRM CELEBRATING 27TH ANNIVERSARY

Francisco-Boyce Photo Co., 719 North University Ave., commercial photographing firm drawing business from all parts of the country, is observing its twenty-seventh anniversary this week. E. J. Francisco and H. E. Boyce form the firm.
The company is the official photographer for several news photo services in the east and for various publications. Of considerable importance is the contact photographing done for New York engineering companies who desire exact picture records of progress made on construction projects in Ann Arbor and vicinity.
Instances of his work are the pictures made of the progress of construction of the Intramural Sports Building at Ferry Field, Lawyers club, Natural Science building, Hill auditorium, the University power plant, and other campus structures. The firm has made a complete record of student activities and the athletic pictures of University sport participants since 1918.
Considerable of the University photographic work has been done by Francisco-Boyce firm, which also draws business from alumni who after leaving Ann Arbor continue to send their films here for developing. The record distance from which work is sent to the firm, involved orders from Warsaw, Poland.
Mr. Francisco became associated in the photographing business in 1912 and Mr. Boyce in 1926, the company being the successor to the photographic firm established at the North University Ave. location in 1905.
