- An inexperienced young bride being asked by her cook to choose her dinners during the honeymoon, was anxious that her ignorance ehould not poep out. Shc called to mind one dish only, and that she knew by name; it was a safo one, and substantial, too - a leg of mutton. So, peveral days the leg of mutton came obedient to the mistress' order. Perhaps tho cook was weary of it; at last she ventured to inquiro, sliould you not like some ottier thing to day ma'arn! Yes, let us have a leg of beef, for a change. Ml I I 4 n m ■
