Port Kearney, Fob. 26. The Poney Express, with California dates to tiio I3th inst., passod hcre at 5:30 P. M. The debate on the Union resolutions was eoütinuod in each branch of the Legislature. The Assembly finally passed resolutions endorsing the Orittenden compromise, and the resolution expressed the Douglas and Breokinridge sentiment in opposition to coeroivo measuroe. The Democratie papers urge the Senate'a coneurrenco in the resoluVon, whieh is regarded as an indication that the Douglas and Breckiaridge wingg are to unito in one Democratie party as it existod prior to Buchanan's administration. Scveral more attempts have been made in the Asserably to oonour in the Senate resolution fixing the 20th inst., for a joint convention to eloct a U. S. Senator, but each time without success, the Republioans and Breokinridge Demooats continuing to aot togethor to stavo ofif an election. ■ i - 11 1 1 i
