Boston, July 12. Faneuil Hall was crowded at 6hort notice to-day to take measures to facilĂ­tate vnlunteering under the cali lor more troops. Hon. Edward Everett urged the duty and importance of sending immediate reinforcemeots to the army of the Pntomac. He cited the testimony ot the French Princes as being filled with admiration at the courage and daring of that army, and the skil! of its young chief, and that of thfi representative of one of' the most potent sovereigns of Europe., tliat po nation in the world could have done po mucb in twelve rnontlis as have the United States. Koverses have been common to the bravest armics in the world, and groat consternation had often been caused by small bands or mobs. A great portion ot the people of tho South had been Lept in terror by their leaders, and for their sake as well as our own, Jespite the threats of intervention, and relying on our own right hnnd, the ormy of the Potcmac ji)U8t be reinforued, Resol utions were adopted lor a oommittee of 150 to reeeive and approprite contributione in aid of enlistmeotf. Tht meeting was very enthusiastjc.
