-Senator Pomeroy, of Kansas, reoeived a dispateh from Springficld, Missouri, the other day, stating that at an auotion sale just finishetl, slaves brought teu dollars a liead. - Nashville Union. This furnisbes a key to the "emanoipation" inovement iu Missouri of whioh we hear so niucb frotu the radical presa, and whioh is represented by the raajority of the State Legislatura and the Senators in Congress. The Missourians are rampant for "emancipation" - corapensated of course - by whioh they are to receive from $300 to $500 each for slaves worth ia the markct only $10 per head ! They are "emancipationists"' after the faahion of New Englanders, New Yorkers and Jersey men. They go for the measure wheu it will pay! - Roohester Union.
