St. Johus, N. F., April 27. The Aoglo Saxou left Liverpool with 360 passangora and a crew of 84 men. She waa wrecked four miles east of Oape Race at noon to-day, (27th) during a; donse fog. Seventy-three persons esoaped frora the wreek by ropesand spars, ' and twenty-four more ia a lite boat, raak.ing a total stived of ninety-seven. Two otber boats have not arrived off Gape Race in consequence of the great density of the fog, and seven more persons, who embarked on a raft, are also missing. - There isstill a heavy sea and fug. The Gommander ia supposed to be among the drowned. The Purser and first and aecond ofScers and Doetor are saved, and oiic eabin passenger, Lieutonaut Sampson, of the Roy al Artillery. Hou. John Youug and family are supposed to be in one of the missing boats. The deck broke up about one hour after the ship struck. rfeveral persons clung to the rigging uutil the foremast feil, but assistanoe oould dot be rendered. Guns aro being fired at Cape Race lo attract the attention of the missing boats, Picton, -April 28. The steamer Dauntless at 9 A. M., Tuesday, picked up two bonts containing ninety people. It is very fine and clear on the coust to-day.
