meeting will be held at Nortb Lake eight miles north-west from Dexter and five miles north-east of Chclsea, on North Jjikè circuit, Ann A rbor district, Detroit Conference. The meeting will commence on Monday June 15th, and will close on gaturday 20th. E. H. PlLCHEE, P. E. S. S. Van Doozbk, Wm, Shiek. The Detroit Board of Trade has sppointed a list of delegates to the great Canal Convention to be held in Chicago, June 2d, Tuesday next. Among the uamber we notice the name of Sjiith Boisforb, of Ann Arbor Town. R. N. liicE Esq., of the Central Eailroad, has teodered the delegation the elegant rector's car for the excursión, which has beon accepted. At a late meeting of the Board, ]3. Follet, oí Ypsilanti, J. Henley, ofj Delhi, and R. A. Beal, of Dexter, were efected honorary delegates. _ The Chicago people are expecting ggreat rush ; hotel accorainodations have all been taken up in advauce, and a coinmittee has been appointed to billet delesates and vistors at private houses.
