Another immense Gram lilevator, said to be the largest in the world, has just been finished in Chicago, and still another, of equal size, is nearly completed - ïhcy have been built in the most sub stantial mauner, and are furnisbed throughout with the most perfect inachinery, including a large number of Fairbanks' 500 Bushei Hopper Scales, whieh insures correct weight to buyers and sellers of grain. The amount of grain which can be handled in these Elevators in a single day is enormous. - The increased production of grain in the North west is perhaps shown in no way more clearly than by the rapid increase in Chicago of the facilities for receiviog and shipping it.
