Murder By Negro Troops

New York, Aug. 12. A letter pnblished n tho World, dated on board the steamer Liberty, August 5, reporta the murder of the entire family of Benjamin Beekham, tben present on the plantation, which' is in Tennessee, 12 miles below Island No. 10, by a party of eighteen black United States soldiere from that Island. Sis persons were killed, four of tbem children. Most of the demons were apprehended by Federal eavalry.
