This imponderable agent has playee] , good many pranks in this vicinity uring the last ten days. Several of wbich 'e enumérate below : On the afternoon of Fridny laat, the house of Mr. Ward, in this city, was itruck by l;ghtning and slightly injured. Durin the same shower, Mrs. Benelutj residing in the neighborhood of j[r, Ward, was considerably shockud y the electric fluid. On Siinday night tiio barn of Mr. Cowan, in the town of Superior, was stvuok by ightning and destroyed with ,]] tscontents, valuad at g3,000. We ]earn with regret that it was not influreJ. Duriog the same storm the barn of }Ir. E. Treadwell, of the town of Ann Arbor, was struck by lightningr and injured some.
