-Tho patterns havo been made and tbe preparations commenced at the Fort Pitt Foundry, Pittsburg, for the casting of a gun which vvíll havo a bore of twenty incheB, lts length will be twenty ieot, and its greatest diameter at the breech is five fcet lour inches. It will weigh about 6fty seven tone.
