Newark, N. J., Nov. 4. TLe demócrata have earried the State. The majority is less than at the last eleetion. The Legislature is about the same. New York, Nor. 4. Twenty-eight counties in this State give Depew, (Uuion) for Secretary of State 53,700 majority, and thirteen counties give 29,450 Jmajority for St. John (dem.). The Union majorities in fortyone counties is 24,250, with eighteen counties to hear from. The vote in this city is as follows : Secretary of' State, St. John (dein.), 42,1-72; Depew (Union), 23,190. The Serald states that Colonel Wood (Union) is elected Blayor of Brooklyn by 1,600 majority. St. Louis, Nov. 4. A. dispatch from Springfield, Illinois, gives the following as the results of" the county elections in that State yesterday : Springfield, 138 Union majority ; Decatur, 281 ; Jacksonville, 490; Bloomington, 562 ; Qnincy, 91 democratie; Joliet 251. These majorities show large Union gainsr which will doubtless obtain throughout the entire. State. Boston, Nov, 4. Returns from 200 towns give Andrew 32,819 majority. Twelve demócrata are elected to.the Legislature. The Senate and all State officers are republican. New York, Nov. 4. The latest returns from the city indícate the election of Bosworth (Union) over McCunn for Justice of the Supreme Oourt. The vote is: Bosworth, 31,289; McCunn, 30,824, with five districts to hear from. Baltimore, Nov. 4. Only about 10,000 votes are cast in this city, of which Goldsboro gets all but 200. It is thought the whole regular ticket is elected.
